(2 March, 2009) Mr. CHEN Yihong, Chairman of China Dongxiang (Group) Co., Ltd. ("China Dongxiang" or "the Company"; stock code: 3818, together with its subsidiaries the "Group"), the leading international sportswear brand enterprise in the PRC, was presented the "2008 Stylish and Successful Leaders Award" by one of the most popular stylish magazines in the PRC, Bazaar Man's Style, on 12 January 2009.
The "2008 Stylish and Successful Leaders' Conference and Award Presentation Ceremony" was held by Bazaar Man's Style at JW Marriot Beijing, which attracted over 300 guests and celebrities to witness this year's award presentation ceremony.
Together with the other 12 award-winning entrepreneurs including Mr. Chen Kwong Pui, Chairman of Jinsu Wangbao Resources Generation Company Ltd.; Mr. Charles Zhang, Chairman and CEO of Sohu Company Ltd.; Mr. Fujun, Chairman of Beijing Huaqi Information Digital Technology Co., Ltd, Mr. Chen Yihong, Chairman of China Dongxiang, was presented the "2008 Stylish and Successful Leaders Award" by Mr. Jackie Chan, the famous film star as well as Mr. Wang Zhongjun, Chairman of Huayi Brothers Media Corporation.Mr. Chen Yihong said, "The difference between a local enterprise in China and an international enterprise is not their ability to execute, but the management and style as well as positioning of the company. This could be seen in China apparel industry ¡V we are not lacking any professional talents, technique or logistics, we are lack of our own style. Last year, China Dongxiang acquired a Japanese apparel company which has 56 years in history, with an aim to enhance the style and positioning of China apparel industry through M&A and integration of resources."
There are many celebrities attend the ceremony, including, Mr. Lu Yi, Mr. Huang Xiaoming, Ms. Zhang Hanyu, Mr. Peter He Rundong, Mr. Dong Dawei, Ms. Huang Yi, Ms. Yuan Chun, Ms. Li Yuchun and Ms. Tangcan. Mr. Rui Chenggang, a famous anchor in CCTV and a young Chinese economist, together with Ms. Liu Fengfei, another famous anchor in CCTV, acted as masters of the ceremony. The ceremony was lightened up by all of these famous stars who are fashionable and trendy in style.
