The First Kappa TV Commercial broadcasted in CCTV National Sports Channel
[19 May 2010, Hong Kong] The leading international sportswear brand enterprise in the PRC, China Dongxiang (Group) Co., Ltd. ("China Dongxiang" or "the Company"; stock code: 3818, together with its subsidiaries the "Group") is pleased to announce that the first Kappa TV commercial was being broadcasted in CCTV National Sports Channel ("CCTV Channel 5") since 17 May.
Following the official launch of the new Kappa brand slogan "We Are One" in late 2009, China Dongxiang continued its brand building efforts for "We Are One" in this year to advocates the Kappa brand positioning - integration of sport and fashion, which further enhanced its international brand image and market competitiveness.
As part of the China Central Television family of networks, CCTV Channel 5 is the main sports broadcaster in the PRC. CCTV Channel 5 is also the most influential and professional sports TV channel granted the exclusive rights to broadcast a wide range of top tier international sporting events including European major football matches. The first Kappa TV commercial is currently being aired on prime-time in CCTV Channel 5 in between one of its most popular programme - Total Soccer ("天下足球"). It is expected that Total Soccer will become one of the top-rated sports programmes in town during the 2010 World Cup period, which is expected to extensively lift the public awareness of Kappa brand.
