China Dongxiang Announces 2Q2010 Retail Same Store Sales Performance
[23 July 2010, Hong Kong] The leading international sportswear brand enterprise in the PRC, China Dongxiang (Group) Co., Ltd. ("China Dongxiang" or "the Company"; stock code: 3818, together with its subsidiaries the "Group") today announced that the Group's retail same store sales ("SSS") for the second quarter of 2010 increased by 0.4% against the same period last year.
The weaker-than-expected SSS in second quarter 2010 was mainly due to the comparatively long and cold winter in the Northeast of China in April to May, followed by the heavy rainstorms occurred in the central and southwest China in May to June this year, which affected the SSS performance during the period.
